The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), one of the premier and largest global accounting organizations, inaugurated the 38th overseas chapter in the New England region on January 24th, 2021.
 
ICAI New England, as it is known, is the fourth (4th) Chapter of the ICAI in the United States. 
 
The ICAI New England Chapter aims to operate as a not-for-profit organization incorporated under Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 180, established with the primary objective of providing networking and professional development opportunities to Chartered Accountants (India) across the New England region, USA. The CA fraternity in New England represents a diverse group of over 300 professionals, from public accounting to entrepreneurs, corporate managers to private equity partners, from CXOs to students, who are just starting their careers. Each member has had a special contribution to make, to give and take, and add to the power and richness of this platform.
 
We began with a spectacular inauguration that was viewed by over 3000 individuals globally, built a strong member base, built a well-functioning organization, and accomplished multiple virtual and in-person events, ranging from technical discussions to social and networking gatherings. 
We ended the year 2021 on an exceptional note with 60+ paid Chartered Accountant members.
