His Excellency, Honorable Shri. Randhir Jaiswal, Consul General of India in New York was the guest of honor at the virtual inauguration that was held on January 24th, 2021. CA. Mahaveer Singhvi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs and member of ICAI’s International Affairs Committee also addressed the group. CA. Atul Gupta, ICAI President (2020), CA. Nihar Jambusaria, then ICAI Vice President (current President) represented ICAI India. CA. Geetha Ramakrishnan, Chair, ICAI San Francisco represented ICAI San Francisco, the flagship Chapter in the United States, that is leading the efforts to launch the ICAI US office.

Narayanan, Professor, Harvard Business School (HBS), Ms. Nileema Pargaonkar, Head, Policy Advocacy for Financial Services, Capital Markets, Tax, and Real Estate at U.S. India Business Council (USIBC); Ms. Shuchita Sonalika, Director and Head- North America, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII - USA), and Ms. Anu Chitrapu, President TiE Boston and Senior Vice President, Bank of America were the special guests and part of the panel discussion at the inauguration ceremony.
